About

LOGOS’ Indian business is an Alternate Investments Fund registered with SEBI and managed by LAI Investment Manager Pvt Ltd, a Joint Venture between LOGOS Property Group and Assetz Property Group. The partnership established a new standalone platform named “LOGOS India” in August 2017. LOGOS India is headquartered in Mumbai and is led by Chief Executive Officer, Mehul Shah. The LOGOS India team has specialists dedicated to investment, development, and asset management, and focuses on the key logistics hubs of Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. LOGOS India venture is targeting the existing institutional capital partner relationships of LOGOS and invests in the development of high quality, modern logistics assets across LOGOS India’s initial target markets. 

Key staff

Mehul Shah is the Chief Executive Officer of LOGOS India. He joined LOGOS’ Indian business at its establishment in August 2017. He brings more than 20 years of experience in logistics real estate, investment management and international business management. Prior to joining LOGOS, he was a Director and CEO of Parekh Integrated Services, an integrated logistics company with a presence in over 70 cities across India. As CEO, Mehul was responsible for creating and implementing the company’s long term strategy, capital raisings and expanding into new markets.

The strategy of the venture, known as the LOGOS India Logistics Venture, is focused on developing and owning high-quality, modern logistics facilities in targeted cities across India and will have up to US$800 million in investment capacity.

Summary- LOGOS has acquired two strategic logistics parks in Chennai, India from Casa Grand Group for Rs 7 billion. The purchase marks LOGOS’ first acquisition in India following the launch of its Indian business. LOGOS Managing Director, Trent Iliffe, said that this brought on board 2.2 million square feet of quality logistics facilities to their Asia Pacific portfolio. He also said that India has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world and with a high-growth real estate sector, this market is an important part of their Asia Pacific. They would bring their significant regional experience and global development and design standards to India and these two new properties. Mehul Shah, Chief Executive Officer of LOGOS’ Indian business said that given Chennai’s prominence as a leading industrial hub, with access to one of the country’s largest ports, the parks are able to efficiently service the high-volume consumption markets of the greater Chennai region and the industrial corridors of Southern India. He also said that LOGOS would enhance the two parks, through an active asset management approach and further developing the available land within the sites.
